As of January 5, 2016, the Village of Carpentersville has designated a 397 acre area of land within the Village as a tax increment financing district.
The Village of Carpentersville has designated an area of the Route 25 commercial corridor from Lake Marian road to Northlake Parkway as a tax increment financing district.
Pursuant to the Industrial Jobs Recovery Law, the Village of Carpentersville designated an area along Commerce Parkway, at the intersection of Illinois Route 31, as a tax increment financing district.
In conjunction with the redevelopment efforts of the Developer and the Village of West Dundee, the designation of the Spring Hill Mall Redevelopment TIF District will serve to rehabilitate and redevelop the Mall through an integrated and comprehensive strategy that utilizes public resources to stimulate additional private investment in an area that would not otherwise be commercially productive.
