Contractor Registration

 

As of 1/01/2025 all contractors must be registered with the 
Village of Carpentersville. 

Please email application with ALL required documents in PDF format to permits@cville.org  be sure to reference “Contractor Registration 2025” in the Subject.

PDF should include the following:

  • Contractor Registration Application 
  • COI (Village of Carpentersville as Cert Holder)
  • $10k Surety Bond
  • Licenses (Roof/Plumbing/Electric etc…)

Once we’ve received the complete registration, we will send the fee, payment link and Cust # to reference for payment

*Sub contractors must also register 
*Please do not combine with permit submittal.

Contractor Registration Application

On April 2nd, 2024, President Skillman and the Board approved Ordinance No. 24-16, which brings important updates to the permit fees outlined in Section 20.02.010 of the Village’s Municipal Code. These amended permit fees are set to go into effect starting in January 2025.
