Sealed proposals for the 2025-26 CDBG Resurfacing Project will be received by the Village of Carpentersville, Public Works Department, Engineering Division located at 1075 Tamarac Drive, Carpentersville, IL 60110 until 10:00 A.M., local time, March 5, 2026, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. The proposed improvements will consist of HMA mill and resurface, carriage walk and pavement removal, placement of concrete sidewalk and curb & gutter, structure adjustments and reconstructs, Class D patching, pavement markings, restoration and all other ancillary work required to complete the project in accordance with the plans, specifications and all other applicable standards.

A Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total proposal shall be submitted with each proposal as provided in Article 102.09 of the “Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction”, prepared by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin.
