Finance Department
The Finance Department provides budgetary, accounting and financial services for all Village departments, the Water and Sewer fund, and Police and Fire Pension funds. This department is responsible for the Village’s annual audit, budget and tax levy.
Other responsibilities include payroll, water billing and collections, accounts payable and receivable and personnel benefits. The Finance Department exercises general supervision over the fiscal affairs of the Village of Carpentersville.
Customer Service
At the Finance Department, you can:
- Pay an ambulance bill
- Pay a parking ticket (not speeding or seatbelt tickets)
- Pay water/sewer bills
- Set-up a water/sewer account
We accept cash, check, or money order. Credit card payments are accepted online and at Village Hall additional fees apply for credit card transactions.
24-hour drop boxes are located at Village Hall and Fire Station Number 3 on Sleepy Hollow Road Please include remittance advice with payments and checks only, please.
Discounts Available for Senior or Disabled Residents
Residents that meet one of the following requirements qualify for a discount on their water/sewer bill. Proof must be submitted to receive the discounts.
- Receiving full Social Security disability benefits
- Senior Citizen (65 or older)

Important Notice
The Village Vehicle Sticker Program has been discontinued. Stickers are no longer required to be purchased by the Village of Carpentersville Residents.
