We’re bringing the spirit of Mexican independence to life with a full day of live performances, authentic food, and family fun—right here in the heart of Carpentersville.

Plus: Food vendors, kids’ activities, dancing, games, and our traditional parade + horse cavalry to kick off the celebration.

El Grito Parade 2025


Date: Saturday, September 13, 2025
Time: Parade begins at 11:00 AM 
(Line up begins at 10am at Meadowdale Mall- near the water tower)

The annual El Grito Parade is back—bringing color, music, and culture to the streets of Carpentersville! Families, friends, and neighbors are invited to line the route and enjoy:
- Live music and marching bands
- Traditional dancers and community groups
- Horses, floats, and classic cars
- Flags, pride, and festive spirit throughout town


After the parade, join us at Carpenter Park from 1 PM–10 PM for the El Grito Festival with food, live bands, and family fun all day long.


This is more than a parade—it’s a celebration of heritage, unity, and community pride. Don’t miss it!
