Village Manager

The Village Of Carpentersville's Village Manager is the Chief Administrative Officer and serves in a capacity as set forth in the Statutes of the State of Illinois and the ordinances of the Municipal code of the Village of Carpentersville. The Village Manager serves at the pleasure of the Village Board. 


The duties and responsibilities of this position include general oversight of all governmental functions and activities, including operations of the several Village departments:

  • Administration
  • Community Development
  • Engineering
  • Finance
  • Fire
  • Information Technology
  • Legislative
  • Police
  • Public Works

The Village Manager is also the staff liaison to the Village Board.
